All the Degrees of Bachelor 1987-1991, Master 1993-1996 and Philosophy 2001-2004 were obtained from Nanjing Agricultural University (NJAU) in 1991, 1996 and 2004, respectively. During 1991-1993, I focused on the integrated management of pests in a farm with more than 2700 hectares, and during 1996-2001, I shifted to study the rational management techniques for weeds and pathogens of vegetables. On graduating from NJAU in 2004, I got a position of Department of Pesticide Sciences of NJAU, and promoted an associate professor in 2006 and professor in 2011. Nowadays my favorite researches are involved in the roles of autophagy in the mode of action of fungicides in the two phytopathogenic fungi, Fusarium graminearum and Botrytis cinerea, molecular mechanism and early warning techniques of fungicide-resistance, and integrative management of phytopathogenic fungi from wheat, rice and vegetables.
