Plant protection discipline in our college was awarded A+ in the 4th round of national first-class discipline assessment

On December 28, the results of the 4th round of national first-class discipline assessment were published by the Ministry of Education's Degrees and Graduate Education Development Center. The Plant protection discipline in our college was awarded A +. Only two universities received this evaluation.

It is reported that the discipline assessment was launched in April 2016 and lasted for more than one year. There have been 7, 449 disciplines from 512 institutions and total 35 universities participated in this assessment. In China, 24 universities have “Doctoral Degree” in plant protection discipline, 20 of which have taken part in the assessment. Some universities with "Master's Degree" have also participated in it. The assessment results are according to the principle of “precise calculation and sub-filing”, and divide the first 70 % of discipline into 9 grades based on the percentile of "overall level of discipline score ". The first 2% (or the first two) are A+, 2% -5% are A (excluding 2%, the same below), 5% -10% are A-.
